ICCR Statement on Human Trafficking

Request for Endorsements of ICCR’s “Statement of Principles and Recommended Practices for Confronting Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery.

ICCR has published a guidance document entitled, “Statement of Principles and Recommended Practices for Confronting Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery.”

This statement will be publicly released on International Human Rights Day, December 10th, 2013. We invite faith-based organizations and congregations, non-governmental organizations, investors and individuals to endorse this guidance document and utilize it in their anti-trafficking work. In addition to releasing the Statement along with a list of endorsers on International Human Rights Day, ICCR will be sending the Statement to companies in January, Human Trafficking Month, starting with focus companies in the Food and Agriculture sector and the Hospitality sector and using the document in corporate engagements.
