Reflection
To have “in-sight” is to see ourselves and others from within. Our own self-knowledge is deepened when we experience an insight into our actions or behavior. It requires that we are open to how others perceive us, that we are able to break through our balloon of self-protection. Attaining insight means listening with a positive ear and not rejecting what is unpalatable. It is the result of taking the time to work at seeing through intuitive understanding. In spite of the flattery that deludes us,we become aware of the deep truths within, but, only if we take time to pay attention, to be aware, to gain our “in-sight”. Insight enables us to see the true nature of things.
Prayer
Open my eyes, O God.
Action
Pay attention to the insights you receive and reflect on the truth they may hold.
