Reflection

Spirituality, though sometimes relegated to religion, represents rather the most profound dimension of universal human experience.  Spirituality arises from awareness of one’s part in the Whole and from the intuition that every being and the whole universe itself are sustained and infused by a powerful loving force, the Abyss of all energy, the source of all being.  One can sense the mysterious thread that connects and reconnects all things into cosmos and out of chaos.  Spirituality inspires awe in us at the wonder of the universe and fills us with self-respect so that we might admire, enjoy, and celebrate all that is. So much of how we think must be changed until these new habits of thought are a given among us all.
Leonardo Boff.
