In silence allow yourself to be open to the abiding presence of Holy Mystery. God is the One who is totally available, who gives a deep sense of security and tranquility. The Spirit of God fills the whole world. The Presence of God is like the air we breathe.

O God, renew within me a sense of your abiding presence.

Today, during moments of work or of rest try to be aware that God is with you and loves you with an unconditional love.

If someone were to ask me whether I believed in God, or saw God, or had a particular relationship with God, I would reply that I don’t separate God from my world in my thinking. In a sense, God is the “ocean” in which we live.
