Building a Bridge with the Sisters of St. Joseph

The Sisters present a FREE screening of “Building a Bridge” to all who desire to build community within the L.I. LGBT Catholic arena.
Named after the book by Father James Martin, Building a Bridge follows a priest on his journey to make the Catholic Church more accepting of the LGBTQ+ community, despite loud opposition from both inside and outside the Church.
Screening of the film will include a post-film discussion with Jason Steidl Jack, PH.D. Jason is featured in the film and has done extensive work in LGBTQ+ Catholic Ministry.
