Todd Salzman holds the Amelia and Emil Graff Professor of Catholic Theology Chair at Creighton University, Omaha, NE. His research and teaching focus on ethical theory, sexual ethics, ecclesiology and ethics, and biomedical ethics. He has authored and co-authored (with Michael Lawler) 11 books and over 150 scholarly articles. His books include: Deontology and Teleology: An Investigation of the Normative Debate in Roman Catholic Moral Theology (1995); What are They Saying about Catholic Ethical Method? (2003); the award winning, The Sexual Person: Toward a Renewed Catholic Anthropology (2008); Sexual Ethics: A Theological Introduction (2012); Virtue and Theological Ethics: Toward a Renewed Ethical Method (2018); Introduction to Theological Ethics: Foundations and Applications (2019); Pope Francis and the Transformation of Catholic Health Care Ethics (2021). He has published numerous scholarly articles in Theological Studies, Louvain Studies, Horizons, Heythrop Journal, Studia Moralia, Irish Theological Quarterly, Human Rights Quarterly, Commonweal, and America. He is married to Katy, and they have three children: Ian, Aaron, and Emily.
