Guided Summer Retreat: Border Crossings

Our lives are marked by transition, some dramatic and earth-shaking, some subtle and gradual. Whenever the Holy One calls us, we can no longer remain exactly as we once were or stay in exactly the same space we once occupied. In this retreat, Chris Koellhoffer, IHM will reflect on some of the holy ones who have been transformed by their emphatic response to God’s invitation. We’ll mine the wisdom and insight gleaned from their significant choices and explore its relevance for our time and place. What new landscapes of the spirit might the Holy One be inviting us to fully inhabit? What reserves of courage, contemplative living, and spaciousness of heart are we being called to cultivate?
