Reflection

From our earliest conscious existence as a species, we humans have always been drawn to God. Over the centuries, we have given God many forms and many names. Christians have found God through Jesus. In this 21stt century, we know that we live in a quantum universe of constant change. We see God as the incomprehensible Holy Mystery whose presence is revealed in all, who sustains all, and who loves us and all creation just as we are.  Our spirituality is steeped in this God beyond all names. We pray to learn to love as God loves – freely and gratuitously, to try to love with a selfless love that makes no demands.  It is the love of seekers based in the confidence that God is the One who is our source and our fulfillment. It results in a genuine caring for all others who share in God’s unconditional ever-creating love.

Prayer

O Holy One grant that I may not so much seek

To be loved as to love…

Action

I will try to absorb what it means to live in a quantum universe. What are the implications to my concept of God? How does it affect my beliefs and actions?
