Reflection

The new year generates a new sense of hope even though it cannot undo the pains and difficulties of the year that has passed. We know the days and weeks to come will slowly unfold. We welcome them. It is a time for new beginnings, unexpected surprises, and the renewal of the joy of living life fully. God’s abiding presence will enliven us in every hour of this new year. Each new moment will have the potential of being a fresh beginning, a moment of developing personal harmony and peace. We trust that this year will be a graced time, a time to grow in love, and a time to renew a commitment to living the message and vision of Jesus. By living our personal peace, we can contribute to communal peace and ultimately to peace on this earth.
