Reflection

The first month of this year has almost passed.  Where has this precious time gone?  How have our lives unfolded?  What of the hopes we cherished on New Years Day?  Have our days passed in preoccupation and bustle? Have we been distracted from our desire for a new beginning?  It is time to reflect and to renew our enthusiasm and resolve.

Prayer

Grant to me, O God, a heart renewed. Recreate in me Your Spirit.

Action:

I will review my anticipation of the new year, choose what is possible and
move ahead with renewed resolve.
