Reflection
A lump of dough left to itself remains just a lump, but when leaven is added to it, a change can take place producing bread, the human staple of life. Leaven works unseen and causes a transformation from within. We can be that leaven. Our inner fields of consciousness (morphogenic fields) can resonate unseen with those of others with similar convictions. Slowly, the influence can spread. It becomes possible that individually and collectively we can contribute to the transformation of our world. Our lives are not insignificant. Jesus used the example of leaven to explain how his community could spread throughout the world. Who we are, what we believe, how we live in resonance with Jesus’s vision can multiply outward and the world can be transformed by the his Spirit living in us.
Prayer
Make us leaven in the world.
Action
Reflect on the power of your life to affect the balance of good in the world. How can you do this with your inner as well as outer actions.
