Long Island Nets - "Community Hero Award"

Long Island Immigration Clinic was honored as a Community Hero by the Long Island Nets for its exceptional service, commitment, and impact on immigrant families across Long Island. This award highlighted the Clinic’s hands-on approach to providing free legal support, community education, and emergency assistance to vulnerable individuals facing complex immigration challenges. Through advocacy, volunteer mobilization, and collaboration with local institutions, the Clinic has helped  thousands of community members navigate life-changing legal processes, secure safety, and build stability. The recognition also celebrated the Clinic’s role in fostering dignity and hope standing beside families during moments of crisis, empowering youth and parents with knowledge, and shaping a stronger, more inclusive Long Island, The Community Hero Award underscored the organization’s unwavering belief  that every person deserves access to justice and the opportunity to thrive, regardless of immigration status.
