Reflection

Into this disruptive and chaotic world Spring is coming. Nature knows it. We may still feel a chill in the air, but the birds know better. Their calls are once again the music of early morning.  Every day there seem to be more of them all singing on different notes.  Earth is stirring to life after the resting of winter. It is time to listen, to watch and to see. It is time to realize that while we are caught in destructive human conflicts, earth is still renewing herself. Small green noses are poking above the ground and the tips of the tree twigs are tinted. It is still before the equinox, but life can’t wait. We may establish times and rituals, but earth lives by a rhythm of its own.

Prayer

All creation praises God.
