Our lives can be changed when we realize that everything we encounter and everyone we meet can be a teacher to us. Teachers challenge us to reach the fullness of our potential. They have the ability to inspire us, to shape our thinking, to open us to the excitement of discovery. Their influence is enduring and shapes our attitudes. If we are open to their influence, we become learners who are receptive, humble, and open to see all life as an experience in which we can learn and develop. People and events are techers that come into our lives and can be transformative for us if we recognize their influence and accept it.

Make me know Your ways, O God; Teach me Your paths.
Psalm 25

Contemplate the events and persons who have contributed to your personal growth.
Accept new influences and experiences with an open mind and heart.
