The choices we make in love and for love co-create our future. When we see ourselves as part of the larger whole, we act on behalf of the whole of which we are a part…A thing is right when it tends to preserve the integrity, stability, and beauty of the whole biotic community … It is wrong when it tends to do otherwise. We need a new way of being in the world that broadens diversity, deepens interiority and strengthens relationality.
Be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self.
Reflect on the meaning of “a new way of being in the world.” Contrast it with what you perceive to be the usual way. What are the implications for you?
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
Everyone has his own idea of good and evil and must choose to follow the good and
fight evil as he conceives them. That would be enough to make the world a better place.
We do not think ourselves into new ways of living, we live ourselves into new ways of thinking.
It is time to embrace horizons that stretch our minds and hearts to their very limits, trusting that the creative Spirit, who breaks down all rigid boundaries and barriers, will spearhead a new relationality in which we and every other organism will rediscover its true cosmic and planetary identity.
Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.
When patterns are broken, new worlds emerge.
When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.
