Reflection

The metaphor “life’s journey” is based in reality. “Our gradual transformation is the result of choices influenced by grace and repeated over a lifetime.” Maturity and holiness come incrementally. We live, we experience, we choose, we fail, we succeed and gradually we become integrated. The Spirit within us urges us forward; we are always in the process of becoming.

Prayer

Fill me with your Spirit, O God.

Action

I will not surrender to discouragement but live my life moment by moment trusting in God whose love is limitless.

If there is anywhere on earth a lover of God who is always kept safe, I know nothing of it, for it was not shown to me. But this was shown: that in falling and rising again we are always kept in that same precious love.
Julian of Norwich

let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Teresa of Avila
