Sister Joanmarie Grace Smith, CSJ

Sister Joanmarie Grace Smith, CSJ, the former Sister Dulcissima, died on July 23, 2022 in the 71st year of her religious life.

Sister Joanmarie Smith was: the William A. Chryst Professor of Pastoral Theology at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio from 1981-2003. Known as a dynamic and creative teacher, she specializes in philosophy of religious education and pastoral theology. The author of more than forty articles, co-author and editor of seven books, she has published three books, Morality Made Simple (But Not Easy) 1982; A Context for Christianity in the 21st Century 1995; and Teaching as Eucharist 1999.
