The Mary Louis Academy

Elizabeth Goberdhan, TMLA Sophomore, has received the 2019 Official Triple C Award presented by and in collaboration with NYS Attorney General’s Office & Philo4thought. This certificate of merit is awarded to a student who has displayed “a remarkable level of Character, Courage and Commitment in her personal growth and outreach to become an active member of the community.



Sacred Heart Academy

Students at Sacred Heart Academy in Hempstead, Long Island are receiving a prestigious honor — the opportunity to present their psychology research at an international conference. “It’s really exciting to go. It’s a really competitive place to be,” said Caroline Doran, a senior at the all-girls Catholic high school

Bishop Kearney High School

The entire school gathered in St. Athanasius Church for a Mass to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Joseph on March 19. The Sisters of St. Joseph present were honored and thanked for their service. The celebration continued in the Kearney cafeteria where the Sisters were presented with a gift and treated to a breakfast served to them by the students of Bishop Kearney

El Dia de San Jose

The community of Academia Maria Reina joined with the Sisters of St. Joseph to celebrate their feast day. During the liturgy the sisters living in Convento Maria Reina were joined by Pat Bergen, CSJ and Kathy Sherman, CSJ of the Congregation of St. Joseph (LaGrange) and Joan Gallagher, CSJ and Yolanda Kinsella, CSJ (Brentwood) in renewing their vows before the assembled community. They also had the good fortune of having Maysa Antonio, interim principal of St. Joseph High School, who happened to be in PR visiting family join them for the celebration.
