Ann O’Hagan-Cordes has spent her entire professional life ministering in Sisters of St. Joseph schools. She is an alumna of TMLA and truly embodies the spirit of the school. According to a press release from the school, she is “passionate about preserving the educational mission of the congregation and the commitment to academic excellence.”

She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and a master of science in education from Fordham University. As assistant principal of The Mary Louis Academy for the past eight years, she has worked closely with Sister Kathleen McKinney.

The new principal will continue to develop innovative curriculum, work closely with the board of trustees, and support the needs of both the students and their families.

“Ann’s personal experience with TMLA as a student, a teacher, and as administrator makes her uniquely suited to her new role as principal,” said Sister Helen Kearney, C.S.J., president of the Sisters of St. Joseph Brentwood. The Congregation and Board have great confidence that Ann, along with the dedicated faculty and staff, will lead TMLA into a vibrant future.
