Young People Farm for a Better Future

This summer a number of young women and men joined the Sisters of St, Joseph on our Brentwood campus to learn about organic farming and ecology. Some of them were WWOOFers (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) volunteers, and some were interns working with Amanda Furcall,our land ecologist, All of them came with enthusiasm, energy, and a desire to be part of working to create a better future for the planet. They received housing, meals, and the opportunity to experience hands on learning at our Organic Garden and on our farms.
