Reflection
Resplendent and unfading is wisdom, and she is readily perceived
by those who love her, and found by those who seek her.
Wisdom 6:1`2-16
As we think about wisdom we try to understand the wisdom that should be reflected in our living. Wisdom is not merely knowing how to live, but how to live together – how to live as people who accept the teachings of Jesus. Wisdom is to see and believe in the Divine Presence as revealed in all creation. This is the wisdom that enables us to live in harmony. It is the wisdom that opens us to justice, love, and compassion. It fills us with awe, reverence and insight.
Prayer
You will show me the path to life,
fullness of joy in your presence,
Psalm 16:11

Where do you see it in the life of the Christian community?
Where is it lacking? How do you reflect wisdom? Where do you need to change?

Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed.
