Reflection

Let your light shine before others.
Matthew 5:16

There are some people whose lives are so bright that they light up the world’s stage. We admire them; they inspire us.  We call them heroes or saints. Yet, it is those people who are close to us whose light or darkness has the greatest impact on our lives—family, friends, neighbors, co-workers. These everyday people influence us by who they are.  We live in their light and they live in ours. Our own responsibility is to live our lives transformed by the gospel. We are called to be light for others, not ostentatiously, but by the daily quiet reflection of integrity and commitment to our values.

Prayer
