Write down the vision…For the vision still has its time,
presses on to fulfillment, and will not disappoint; If it delays, wait for it,
it will surely come.
We need an inner vision that gives us purpose to give zest to our lives. It is the dream of what we want and who we want to become, the step that begins our journey. Even though each part of the road we will follow is not clear, the vision is the beacon that points to the destination. Vision opens our minds to the many possibilities of the future. It connects with our passions and urges us toward our greatest potential. Without vision, we lack drive and life becomes just an order of events. To achieve our dream will take time. It may not turn out exactly as we thought. But, if we live our lives in the context of our inner vision, it enables us to know what and why we are doing the things we are doing. It enables us to continue when things become difficult. Our desired destination is in focus and the vision ”presses on to fulfillment, and will not disappoint; if it delays, wait for it, it will surely come.”
O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me.
Examine your inner vision. Hold fast to your dreams.
Where there is no vision, the people perish.
The Spirit of God is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. God has sent me to preach release to captives and give sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed.
The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.
You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
In order to carry a positive action we must develop here a positive vision.
A successful leader can see the future and still stay focused in the present. For a successful leader, a vision is not seen as a dream, but a reality that has not come into existence. Their vision acts as a force within them, driving them to action.
Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.
Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world.
Joel A. Barker
Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.
All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.
Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.
Failed plans should not be interpreted as a failed vision. Visions don’t change, they are only refined. Plans rarely stay the same, and are scrapped or adjusted as needed. Be stubborn about the vision, but flexible with your plan.
John C. Maxwell
Not all dreamers are winners, but all winners are dreamers. Your dream is the key to your future. The Bible says that, “without a vision (dream), a people perish.” You need a dream, if you’re going to succeed in anything you do.”
If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is a compromise.
The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious.
