Each of us is meant to be a spark of light in this wondrous creation. We are free to be a blessing or to be curse, one whose selfishness and lack of integrity does not offer light to others. What we know is that the act of living a life with integrity is holy. To live being fully oneself, to live with integrity, to live in daily wonder at the sheer magnificence of creation, to live in reverence for other living beings and to act with love and compassion is holy. It is to shine as a candle of hope in the dark of human winter.
May I appreciate the blessing of my life and live so as to be a blessing for others.
Where do I see an indifference to the blessing and holiness of each life? By my life how can I help to raise awareness, foster respect, and bring about change?
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
I call on heaven and earth as witnesses today that I have offered you life or death, blessings or curses. Choose life so that you and your descendants will live.
Let your light shine before all, that they may see your good works and praise God.
Just to be is a blessing; just to live is holy.
Blessed is the influence of one true, loving human soul on another.
God made you a masterpiece – be blessed, secure, disciplined and equipped.
When you commit yourself to living love, you feel at peace with yourself because
you are at harmony with the flow of life. Viewing life from the highest perspective,
you feel confident and secure. You realize that no matter how things may
appear, you are loved and protected. You know you are one with God, and you
bring your peace with you wherever you go. You’re not looking for love, but for opportunities to love.

At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.
Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.
Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.
