January 2

God’s abiding presence will be within us in every hour of this new year. Each new moment has the potential of being a fresh beginning, a moment of developing personal harmony and peace. We know that today’s decisions shape tomorrow’s outcomes and that living each moment the best way we can creates a harmonious life. The days and weeks to come are God’s gift. We welcome them. It is a time for new beginnings, unexpected surprises, and the renewal of the joy of living life fully. We trust that this year will be a graced time, a time to grow in love, and a time to renew a commitment to living the message and vision of Jesus. By living our personal peace, we can contribute to communal peace and ultimately to peace on this earth.

May I always be grateful for the gift of time.

Today I will put the past into God’s hands and move into a new beginning.
