January 31

The first month of this year has passed.  Have we been distracted from our desire for new beginnings? How have our lives unfolded? Where has this precious time gone?  Have our days been caught in the turmoil around us?  What happened to the hopes we had on New Years Day? How will we live out the days ahead? It is time to reflect and to renew our convictions and resolve.

Grant to me, O God, a heart renewed. Recreate in me Your Spirit.

I will review my “resolutions” at the new year, choose what is possible and move ahead with renewed resolve.
