Reflection

Words come to life within a person. Who we are speaks louder than what we say. We cannot hide our character under our words for very long. It is easy to bluster against evil actions or to speak in pious language but eventually our listeners see through us. We cannot hide behind safe words. We are called not only to share the truth of the gospel but also to share it in our very selves. Those whose presence reveals an inner spirituality and integrity can be truly inspiring.

Prayer

May I speak the truth in love.

Action

Am I afraid to speak what I truly believe? Do my words allow others to understand my beliefs and aspirations? Where do I share my very self?
