Reflection

Life is energy; peace is energy. Think of radio waves. There are different frequencies, or rates of vibration, on which you can broadcast your program. Anyone who tunes into that frequency will receive whatever you are sending. If you are vibrating with anger, frustration, or pain, that is what others around you will receive. If you are vibrating with peace, then you are sending that message to all you meet. Peace has its own frequency, or quality of consciousness. If you practice enough, you will come to recognize how it feels inside–the energy or vibratory signature of inner peace. Then, as with a radio, you can turn up the volume. You can choose to radiate this energy near and far, to broadcast from your own peace radio station. Finding inner peace, then, becomes an act of great generosity and love, when you share it with others simply by being who you are.
The Peace Book

 Prayer

 Peace be to you.

Action

Consider what kind of energy you transmit to others. What is the message you want to offer?

Give up being right, instead radiate peace, harmony, love and laughter from your heart.

If you see good in people, you radiate a harmonious loving energy which uplifts those around you. If you can maintain this habit, this energy will turn into a steady flow of love.

Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush; anxious for greater wishes and so on; so that children have very little time for their parents, parents have very little time for each other; and the home begins the disruption of the peace of the world.
Mother Teresa

Imagine all the people living life in peace.

Peace can become a lens through which you see the world. Be it. Live it. Radiate it out. Peace is an inside job.

Peace comes from being able to contribute the best that we have, and all that we are, toward creating a world that supports everyone. But it is also securing the space for others to contribute the best that they have and all that they are.

Love is the vital essence that pervades and permeates, from the center to the circumference, the graduating circles of all thought and action. Love is the talisman of human weal and woe –the open sesame to every soul.
Elizabeth Cady Stanton

Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.
Desmond Tutu

Peace does not rest in the charters and covenants alone. It lies in the hearts and minds of all people. So let us not rest all our hopes on parchment and on paper, let us strive to build peace, a desire for peace, a willingness to work for peace in the hearts and minds of all of our people. I believe that we can. I believe the problems of human destiny are not beyond the reach of human beings.
John F. Kennedy
