It seems that suddenly we have come to the end of September. Wasn’t it just April? Time slips away and only the present moment is what is real. “Today is yesterday’s tomorrow”. It is a reminder that life is precious. To rush busily through our days without noticing the unfolding of the seasons, the maturing of our children, the changes in loved ones, is to miss precious moments which will not come again. Spiritual teachers tell us to live in the present moment, to be steeped in the blessings of now. At any moment of life it is all we can be sure we have. The transition times of the seasons are good reminders that we need to savor life and not let it slip away.
This is the day the lord has made; let us be glad in it.

The present moment, if you think about it, is the only time there is. No matter what time it is, it is always now.
God is always coming to you in the Sacrament of the Present Moment. Meet and receive Him there with gratitude in that sacrament
Usually, people have a tendency to be caught in the worries concerning the future or in the regret concerning the past. There is some kind of energy that is pushing them to run, and they are not able to establish themselves in the present moment.
The best gift we can have is living in the present moment and really enjoying it for what it is; and, not being in our heads and getting sidetracked.
Forever is composed of nows.
Be Here Now.
Be happy in the moment, that’s enough. Each moment is all we need, not more.
If you have one eye on yesterday, and one eye on tomorrow, you’re going to be cockeyed today.
