The St. Joseph Worker Program is a new ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph. St. Joseph Workers are women committed to social change who live according to the Catholic Volunteer Network values of community, social justice, spirituality and leadership.
Women live in an intentional community, volunteer in a variety of sites focused on social justice and help to meet the needs of those living in poverty. During the course of their volunteer year they become part of the Sisters of St. Joseph and as alumnae, they continue the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph as they live out the gospel in their many different jobs, ministries and life choices.
The SJW Program operates annually from August to June with workers serving at a variety of locations where Sisters of St. Joseph minister.
