On June 30th Sisters of St. Joseph, Associates and co-ministers gathered with sisters from the Congregation of the Infant Jesus and other friends and neighbors to address the Trump Administration’s policy of separating families at the border. Together they marched and participated in rallies in Huntington, Wantagh, East Meadow, Rockville Centre, Jackson Heights, Midtown and Downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn.

While prayers have been answered and voices heard moving the administration to suspend the policy of separation there are still thousands of children being detained separate from their parents. It is necessary to keep the pressure on the administration until every single child is back with her/his parent.

Sisters, associates, co-ministers gather from east to west with their neighbors to put an end to separating families at the border.
